Anglo Saxon Cooking

Owls have been getting busy in the kitchen and making some traditional Anglo Saxon foods. First the Year 3s made honey flapjacks and the following day the Year 4s made Honey shortbread. All the ingredients would have been around in Saxon times, though it was considerably easier going to Sainsbury's to get it!! The children expertly measured out the ingredients and had to use their maths skills to adjust the quantities. Judging from the cakes the children produced 'The Bake off' crew have got some tough competition!
