Another action-packed week in Owls saw us plotting Captain Cook’s route around the world in
Geography, programming short animations in Computing and taking part in our first Samba session in
Music. The Samba, in particular, proved very popular although we were rather taken aback by how
loud it was! It was amazing how quickly the children picked up different rhythm patterns though and
we are looking forward to the next nine weeks!
Elsewhere, in English, we’ve been practising putting dialogue into our stories and in Maths, some of us
have been mastering short division, factors and square / cube numbers.
Owls getting into the groove with some Samba!
