The Dinosaur Museum

Kingfishers had a fantastic trip to the Natural History Museum in Oxford last week. First they took part in a lively interactive workshop where they role-played the process of a dinosaur turning into a fossil and had the opportunity to handle fossilised ammonites, dinosaur bones, dinosaur skin and even dinosaur droppings! Next they went on a dinosaur hunt around the museum, coming face to face with some amazing dinosaur skeletons including an Iguanodon, a Triceratops and everyone's favourite, the T Rex! Finally they had a picnic lunch on the museum lawns and had lots of fun jumping in the dinosaur footprints there before the coach ride home.
