Greener Gretton

This term's Friendship Friday was around the theme of looking after our local environment. The children spent a morning working within their Houses on activities related to this theme.

Cleeve House looked at a beautiful book called 'Dear Earth', which told us about some of the amazing animals in the world and how important it is for us to look after them. They discovered some more fascinating facts about animals and their habitats, presented by the famous naturalist David Attenborough and then chose their favourite animals to paint.

Langley discussed materials that could be recycled and looked for the recycle on lots of packaging before using it to build recyled robots.
