Tree of Promises

On Friday 5th November 2021, during the UN Climate Change Conference COP26, young people and schools across the UK have been asked by the WWF to form a Forest of Promises, displaying leaves made by students on a ‘tree of promises’ and starting a conversation in the wider community about the changes needed to address climate change. Kingfishers, Owls and Eagles classes have made their own promise leaves, which have been displayed in the front garden. On one side of our leaves we have written a promise of something we are going to try to do to help our planet and on the other side we have written something we would like world leaders to do to help our planet. Please take a look at our promises if you can – they make for interesting reading.
