KS2 had a visit from a Parliament Outreach teacher, Tom Williams, on Wednesday. He talked about what Parliament is and explained the similarities and differences between the House of Commons and the House of Lords. We saw a picture of the huge golded throne the monarch sits on when he or she attends the House of Lords. We also learned that because our school is in the Tewkesbury locality, our MP is Laurence Robertson. The children had some very thoughtful and considered questions to ask at the end.
