Eagles

Mr. Stinchcombe and Mrs. Fowler

Eagles class is a place in which we explore, learn, collaborate and experience. We work hard, but we balance that with lots of fun. Eagles are working towards their transition to KS3, and as such, take on lots of extra responsibilities:

  • Big Friends to the Robins
  • School Council Chair and Vice Chair
  • House Captains
  • PE monitors

The children benefit from a curriculum full of enrichment: already this year we have been to the Black Country Living Museum, dissected a heart and entered a poetry competition.

During the final term this year, the year 6s will be sitting their SATs tests. We will also be competing in a number of sporting competitions in tag rugby, rounders and athletics. We will also be rehearsing and performing our play for the end of the school year. After half-term, Eagles will continue their Forest school sessions on a Thursday afternoon.

Attached at the bottom of the page is the statutory spelling list for Y5/6. These spellings along with all other spelling lists can be found on the English subject page of the website, to help support home learning.
