For the second part of our DT day we started off by thinking if we could see round corners. The children were set a challenge to see if Ava could see who was behind the screen without peeking round the corner or over the top. We decided that the only way we could do this was through using mirrors.
The children then used juice cartons (thank you parents for sending so many in!) and mirrors to make our own periscopes. There were some very tricky parts including getting into the juice cartons and actually sticking the mirrors correctly in place - thank you to Mrs Brookes and Mrs Fowler for your help with this! We had great fun experimenting with our periscopes. So watch out - Owls class can now see round corners!!!
