It has been frog mania at Forest School this week! Everywhere we stepped, frogs were jumping around our feet! I'm not sure who had more fun, the children or Nel trying to catch them!
As well as trying to study the joys of British wildlife, we have been learning about Florence Nightingale. The children have been very enthusiastic about this nursing legend (particurlaly Leo, who is likening her to his Mummy, who is learning to be a modern day Florence Nightingale!) We have been writing letters about the awful conditions she encountered in Scutari and we have been creating paper lanterns to signify the 'Lady of the Lamp'.
