Kingfishers celebrated National Poetry Day this week by listening to the entertaining poems in 'Dinosaurs Galore', identifying adjectives within these and making up their own funny rhymes about their favourite dinosaurs. They were amazed to learn about Mary Anning, a famous fossil hunter who lived 200 years ago in Lyme Regis and discovered the first Ichthyosaurus fossil. They also took their toy dinosaurs to explore the different environments in the early years outdoor area and enjoy the autumn sunshine!
