As part of our weather topic we did an experiment to find out which materials were the most waterproof. We all had lots of fun using a pipette to squirt drops of water onto different materials, including paper towels, kitchen paper, hessian fabric, a piece of plastic bag and some tin foil, which we fixed onto a toy house as roofing. We discovered that the tin foil was the most waterproof, holding over a hundred separate drops before it finally overflowed!rsz 1img 0524
