On Wednesday 19th September the Eagles went to London to visit the British Museum. We left promptly and made good time, arriving at the museum at about 11:45.
Once there, we split into groups of 4, each headed by an adult. Then we went and had a look at the Egyptian galleries, marvelling at mummies, staring at statues and cooing at cartouches.
Some children had the opportunity to hold an ancient Egyptian alabaster pot, which held kohl.
We loved looking at the other galleries too - especially the Money Room, which contained a 25 billion dollar Zimbabwean note!
